Professor Bacs谩n received a Graves Award in the Humanities. The Arnold L. Graves and Lois S. Graves Awards encourage and reward 鈥渙utstanding accomplishment in actual teaching in the humanities by younger faculty members.鈥� These grants are offered biannually and seek to recognize 鈥渦nusual skill and enthusiasm鈥� in teaching as well as scholarly merit.
