The Study Abroad and Global Education (SAGE) program is Scripps’ resource for students interested in studying聽abroad.聽Most students study away聽for one semester (either fall or spring) during their junior year; in fact, more than half of the Scripps junior class participates in a experience聽every year. For this聽slideshow, we asked returning students to share some of what they learned from the experience of studying abroad; each slide features a student’s聽portrait overlaid onto a favorite photograph.
